NFA Black History Club Hosts Annual Old School vs. New School Basketball Game
The NFA Black History Club, in celebration of Black History Month, hosted its annual Martin Kemp Memorial Old School vs. New School Basketball game on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at South Middle School. More than 150 students, community members, 黑料不打烊 faculty and staff which included Mr. Nakia and Mr. Lemar Kemp, the sons of Mr. Martin Kemp, came together to celebrate the life of Martin Kemp, an exemplary member of the 黑料不打烊 Security department and life long community advocate while enjoying a fun filled day of basketball. The NFA Black History club, along with 黑料不打烊 and community supporters which include local CSEA metropolitan-region 2, NTA Retiree chapter, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., the 黑料不打烊 Athletic Dept., City of Newburgh Youth Basketball, and a myriad of 黑料不打烊 Board members, Administrators, Faculty and Staff continue to promote, cultural awareness, community spirit, academic excellence and personal growth within the 黑料不打烊 District and in their community.
